In 1985 what he had written about a deal between Camorra clans caught up with him, and he was shot near his home, sitting in his green car. Marco Risi does not build a detective story out of it. He follows Siani's last months almost day by day: which sentence he wrote, who it annoyed, who warned him, and who failed to stand behind him.
