Gampang Cuan

Rahabi Mandra's 2023 Indonesian film follows three siblings who inherit their father's debt. Sultan, Bilqis and Aji have to find money quickly. The film lines up their attempts to earn it. The methods grow steadily more questionable; while building the comedy, the narrative also brings in the siblings blaming one another. Vino G. Bastian and Anya Geraldine appear. The tone is fast and the jokes short. The close returns to family ties. Who it's for: those who like Indonesian comedy and stories about siblings. Who it's not for: viewers expecting a serious drama about debt; the film keeps the subject light.
