Give It All

Etsuko is an ordinary high school student. She has no luck in love. She does not do well at her lessons either. She is bored with life. One day she sees a boat out on the sea. The way it glides catches her. In that moment she decides to take up the oar. She applies to the school rowing team. But the team is all male and turns her down. Etsuko then sets up a team of her own. The team is made up entirely of girls. Nothing is the same after that day. Rena Tanaka and Mami Shimizu take the leads, with Wakana Chizaki and Kirina Mano also in the cast, in Itsumichi Isomura’s Japanese film of 1998.
