Hank and Asha

Asha is an Indian student. She is studying in Prague. One day she records a video letter. She sends it to Hank, who lives in New York. Hank works in film as well. He answers with a video of his own. That is how the correspondence starts. The two of them never meet in person. They know each other only through a screen. What they tell each other grows more personal. Loneliness is what they share. So is the wish to connect with someone. The film consists entirely of those letters. Mahira Kakkar and Andrew Pastides appear in the seventy three minute film, a Czech and American production James E. Duff finished in 2013.
