What Harrison's Flowers Is About

1991. Harrison Lloyd, a well known photojournalist, goes missing while covering the war in Yugoslavia. His wife Sarah refuses to believe he is dead and goes into the war zone to find him. One correction is needed: our record says Bosnia, but the war under way in 1991 was in Croatia, and the siege of Vukovar sits at the centre of the film; the Bosnian war began the following year. The film does not romanticise war reporting, showing the killing of civilians directly and harshly. Contains disturbing violence.
