Heaven's Heart

Lars and Susanna have been married twenty years. The two of them have an orderly life. Their jobs are good and their house is large. They have a daughter as well. At dinner they are hosting old friends. Their guests are a married couple too. At the table the talk turns to adultery. The argument grows harder as it goes. Each of them defends a position. But there is something left unsaid at that table. Lars has had an affair with his wife’s closest friend. When that comes out the order breaks. Mikael Persbrandt and Lena Endre take the leads, with Jakob Eklund and Maria Lundqvist also in the cast, in Simon Staho’s Danish and Swedish coproduction of 2008.
