Married twenty years, Gabriel and Gabriela live like two people who have stopped seeing each other. Each of them separately starts writing to a stranger online, each falls in love within a few nights, and neither knows who is on the other end. Around them the film fills the frame with people in a permanent state of arousal, their teenage son above all. Alexandru Maftei took the premise from a real story said to have happened in Italy: two people chatting with someone unknown to them who discover, when they arrange to meet, that they are husband and wife. It was widely called Romania’s first romantic comedy in a very long time.
