What Hostile Territory Is About
The Civil War is over. Jack Calgrove, back from captivity, reaches home to learn that his wife has died and his children, taken for orphans, have been put on a train heading west to be placed with new families. This was a real practice: in nineteenth-century America children without parents were sent west by train and handed to families along the route. Jack sets out to stop the train with another soldier, a troop of Native American marksmen and a freed slave. Brian Presley directed and takes the lead. Ninety-four minutes, a small-budget western.
