First Love

A town on the Aegean coast at the start of the nineties. The Arifoglu family is a long way from its old days; most of the land has been sold and what is left is an olive oil factory going to ruin. The return of Asaf, declared dead years earlier, throws everything into confusion, because his brother Azmi married Nevin, who had been engaged to him. Nevin’s decision upsets the whole balance of the family. Meanwhile the youngest in the house, thirteen year old Arif, is going through his first love and runs into a rival he did not expect. Cetin Tekindor and Vahide Percin appear in Nihat Durak’s hundred and sixteen minute film, completed in 2006.
