Metin makes a living writing sketches for television while what he actually wants is to see one of his own scripts filmed, and he is turned down every time. At the end of one such evening he meets Duygu in a bar, brings her home drunk, and wakes to find only a short note. At their next meeting he realises she is hiding something and starts following her. The film opens like a fairy-tale romantic comedy and changes genre completely halfway through; the ending is not light. Aytac Agirlar's first film was a large hit in Turkey and its songs became as well known as the film.
