It's Not My Film

A woman and a man are walking along a beach. Behind them they drag a sled loaded with luggage. They look like polar explorers. Janek and his wife set out on this after a row. They had tried to divorce once. Then they gave themselves an ultimatum. They will walk the Baltic coast in the middle of winter. The road is four hundred kilometres. If they manage it they will stay together. If they do not they will separate. Along the way they contend with the weather. At the same time they learn again how to be together. The road leaves them no choice but to talk. The account runs comedy and drama together. Zofia Chabiera and Marcin Sztabiński take the leads in Maria Zbąska’s Polish film of 2024.
