Ittefaq

The story takes place almost entirely over one stormy night. A man accused of murder escapes from a mental hospital. Looking for somewhere to shelter, he gets into a woman’s house. For her the night turns into a nightmare at a stroke. The two of them have to stay in the same house until morning. The more they talk, the less the situation is what either of them assumed. The film builds its tension in one place and over one night. The account holds its solution back to the end and keeps the doubt between the two of them. The hundred and four minutes are given to that night. Rajesh Khanna and Nanda appear in Yash Chopra’s Indian film, completed in 1969.
