What Killer Cop Is About
A bomb has been planted in a crowded hotel in the centre of Milan and the timer has minutes left on it. A young detective finds it by accident, and from that moment he is inside a trap. As the investigation goes on he finds himself against not only the people who planted it but the people who want the matter buried, and he sees how tightly his hands are tied. The film comes out of the political vein of Italian crime cinema of the seventies and takes the real tension of the period as its direct subject. Claudio Cassinelli and Arthur Kennedy appear in Luciano Ercoli’s ninety five minute film, completed in 1975.
