Love & Dance

Chen’s mother was born in Russia and his father is Israeli. The two worlds do not fit together and the boy is caught between them. His mother cares about theatre and about a properly laid table. His father wants to raise the boy harder. One day Chen comes across a ballroom dancing class for young people. There he sees a Russian girl called Natalie and takes to her. That is why he signs up. The teachers are former Russian champions with unfinished business of their own. In time the dancing softens the divide inside the family as well. Avi Kushnir and Evgenia Dodina take the leads in Eitan Anner’s Israeli film of 2006.
