Love Is Blind

Kertu is a woman of thirty. All her life she has done what her father said. She is gentle and quiet. In the village they take her for simple. Making her own decisions was never taught to her. One day she tries something for the first time. She sends a card to a man called Villu. Villu is known in the village as a heavy drinker. He is handsome but his name is not good around the place. The card starts something between the two of them. Her father reacts harshly to it. Gossip spreads through the village as well. Ursula Ratasepp and Mait Malmsten take the leads, with Peeter Tammearu also in the cast, in Ilmar Raag’s Estonian film of 2013.
