Lucky Kids

Ann Garden is an actress out of work. One night she finds herself in court. The charge is loitering. It is heard in the night court. There she meets Gil Taylor. Gil is trying to make a living writing songs. For now he is taking notes in the courtroom. He does not want her to go to jail. Without thinking he tells a lie. He informs the judge that they are engaged. The judge decides just as quickly and marries them on the spot. A marriage that began that way runs a rocky course, and songs carry much of the film. Lilian Harvey and Willy Fritsch appear in the ninety three minute film, a German production Paul Martin finished in 1936.
