What Maixabel Is About
In 2000, Juan Mari Jauregi was killed by ETA. Eleven years later his widow, Maixabel Lasa, receives a request: one of the men who killed him, having broken with the organisation, wants to meet her in the prison where he is serving his sentence. She agrees. The film follows those meetings, part of a restorative justice programme actually carried out in Spain.
