Manamantha

The film tells four separate stories side by side. Sairam is an assistant manager at a supermarket who takes a crooked road towards a promotion and pays for it. Gayatri runs a middle class household carefully and with little. Mahitha’s friend, a child living on the street, goes missing, and she risks everything to find him. Abhiram is a bright student who falls in love with Aira and follows her. At first sight the four stories stand apart from one another. But one thing ties them all together: family. The work puts four separate lives inside the same frame and pushes none of them forward at the expense of the others. Each is given the same weight. Mohanlal and Gautami Tadimalla appear in Chandra Sekhar Yeleti’s Telugu language Indian film of 2016.
