Mathu Vadalara 2

Ritesh Rana's 2024 Telugu film follows Babu and Yesu, the two delivery agents introduced in the first film, this time assigned to a special unit. Neither is suited to the work, and the comedy comes from that. The series' manner is recognisable: fast cutting, abrupt sound effects and narration that breaks chronology. Rana applies the method here to a more complicated plot and at times makes it hard to follow. Sri Simha and Satya work together as well as in the first film. Its weakness is the formal play getting in front of the story, and the running time. Who it's for: viewers who like Telugu crime comedy and have seen the first film. Who it's not for: anyone wanting an orderly story, or who will find fast cutting and sound tricks wearing.
