Maria and Tom are in their thirties. They have been married ten years. They live in a small town. Both of them have found their place at work. He works at a design company. She holds a post at the town hall. They are doing up their flat together. They are also expecting a baby. Nothing seems able to disturb their life. Then the mayor of the town rapes Maria.
