What My Tutor Friend Is About
Su-wan is a second-year university student scraping by. The pupil she is hired to tutor is Ji-hoon: rich, repeating his final year of high school for the third time, never in class, always in a fight, and unbothered by anyone. They are the same age and they cannot stand each other. The lessons proceed as arguments, and then the arguments start turning into something else. Kim Kyung-hyung's film was among the most widely seen Korean romantic comedies of 2003. Kim Ha-neul plays Su-wan and Kwon Sang-woo plays Ji-hoon. It fits class difference and the pressure of the education system inside the comedy.
