No Budget Story

A young man wants to make his first film but has no money. To find it he asks a producer for help. The producer’s business, though, is pornographic films. That is the door that opens for him. The film puts the money side of starting out in cinema at the centre of the account. Its title looks straight at that situation. The work runs drama, comedy and a romantic strand together. His effort to get the film made is the main line of the story. Renos Haralambidis, who directed it, also takes the lead. Yannis Bostantzoglou and Dimitra Papadima are also in the cast of the eighty seven minute Greek film of 1997.
