Notte italiana

Otello Morsiani is a lawyer from north-eastern Italy. A job comes his way. He is to value land holdings on the Po Delta. The land is to be expropriated. The aim is to make a national park there. Morsiani goes to the district. Before long he notices something. Methane was extracted there for a long time. Because of it the ground is at risk of sinking. But the matter does not end there. The lawyer comes upon the trace of an old death. The death dates back twenty years. Marco Messeri and Giulia Boschi take the leads, with Remo Remotti and Antonio Petrocelli also in the cast, in Carlo Mazzacurati’s Italian film of 1987.
