Nowhere

André is a truck driver of fifty four. His days go by much the same. Then someone breaks into his place. The intruder is a homeless teenager called Thierry. André catches him and does not hand him to the police. A bond nobody expected forms between them. Both of them have been knocked loose from somewhere. They set out together on a search. Thierry is looking for a trace of the mother he never knew. The road takes them from one place to another. The film puts two people very far apart in age and in life next to each other. The director talks about it as an answer to the polarisation of today. He says people no longer take the time to get to know one another. Koen De Bouw and Noa Tambwe Kabati appear in the hundred minute film, a Belgian production Peter Monsaert finished in 2022.
