What Nowitzki: The Perfect Shot Is About
Dirk Nowitzki was a very tall boy playing basketball in Würzburg. A coach named Holger Geschwindner, whom nobody took seriously, spotted him and took him on, and instead of conventional training worked him through geometry, mathematics and music. Nowitzki went to the NBA, spent decades with the Dallas Mavericks, went a long time without a championship, and won one in 2011. Sebastian Dehnhardt's documentary has Nowitzki tell that road himself. Geschwindner speaks too, along with Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash and Jason Kidd. The most interesting part of it is that strange training method and how the famous shot was actually invented.
