What Oh My Friend Is About
Chandu and Siri have been friends since childhood, and both are certain the bond will never turn into love. New people arrive and that certainty is shaken: when Chandu falls for Ritu and starts spending most of his time with her, Siri feels shut out, and the question of what happens to a friendship built for two when a third person arrives is opened. It is Venu Sriram’s first film and his own screenplay, and the point at issue is whether the two are good friends or people in love with each other. Siddharth and Shruti Haasan lead, with Hansika Motwani and Navdeep in the cast. Rahul Raj composed the songs, his first work in Telugu cinema, while Mani Sharma wrote the score. It was released on 11 November 2011.
