One Out of Two

Lorenzo, a lawyer in his thirties, has risen fast in his profession, has money and the respect of the people around him, and a partner he lives with. One day, while talking business with his colleague, he collapses in the street, and afterwards his sight begins to fail. The time that passes before it is known whether there is a tumour in his brain makes him weigh up the whole life he has built; the way he does his work, his relationships and what he gives his time to all come before him in turn. The film treats illness not as an event that teaches a lesson but as a person losing his own measure. Fabio Volo, Anita Caprioli and Ninetto Davoli appear in Eugenio Cappuccio’s hundred minute Italian film, completed in 2007.
