Our Meal for Tomorrow

Ryota and Koharu are high school students. Ryota keeps his distance from people. He says very little. Koharu is the opposite. She is not afraid to say what she thinks. The two of them meet at a school event. The event is a race with rice bags. They begin seeing each other after that. Their first date is at a fast food place. Later, at a family restaurant, they realise they are in love. Years pass. The relationship lasts seven years. In the end they marry. They make their promises at a table. There is white rice on that table. The story comes from a novel. Yuto Nakajima and Yuko Araki appear in the hundred and nine minute film, a Japanese production Masahide Ichii finished in 2017.
