What Pardon Is About
A Turkish tragicomedy drawn from a real case. İbrahim, who did his military service late, runs from anywhere he sees a uniform; that harmless-looking fear draws police attention and he is taken into custody with his friend Muzo. Frightened during questioning, they give the name of a third friend, and all three end up in prison accused of belonging to an illegal organisation. Inside, they still do not understand what happened; outside, life continues without them. The film makes you laugh while showing how the law can swallow a person.
