Refik, a wealthy man left paralysed from the neck down by a paragliding accident, needs a carer, and the job lands with Ferruh, who has never managed anything in his life properly. The distance between them is both class and temperament, and the film is about how that distance closes. The source is not hidden: the French film Intouchables. What the adaptation does is reset the story inside Istanbul's own class relations, since the relationship between wealth and domestic help works differently here, and several scenes are rebuilt accordingly. Haluk Bilginer and Feyyaz Yiğit take the leads, with Hatice Aslan, Bige Önal and Şevval Sam among the cast. Mert Baykal directed and Cem Öget wrote the music. It opened on 14 November 2025 and was the first Turkish film released in IMAX. Its flaw is fidelity. The order of scenes is largely unchanged, nothing surprises, and anyone who knows the original will feel the repetition. Who it is for: people who loved Intouchables and want to watch these two actors work. Who it is not for: anyone expecting an original story.
