Pettson and Findus

Pettson is an old man and Findus is his cat. The two of them are fishing by the lake. The weather turns all at once. A snowstorm comes up and it starts to go dark. They cannot find their way home. They need somewhere to shelter. All they have to hand are frozen fish. They stack the fish like blocks and build themselves an igloo. They crawl inside and wait. The storm goes on outside. They talk to keep their spirits up. They tell each other what happened over the past year. Each story opens out like a chapter of its own. The film is an animation made for children. Tord Peterson and Kalle Lundberg give voice to the seventy five minute animation, a German and Swedish co-production Albert Hanan Kaminski finished in 1999.
