Punk's Not Dead

Mirsa is forty years old. He was once the singer of a punk band. The band came out of Skopje and was known across Macedonia. But they broke up seventeen years ago. Mirsa still lives with his mother. He gets by on work outside the law. One day he is asked to bring the band back together. The concert is to be in the Albanian part of Macedonia. A civil society organisation is behind it. He sets out to find the old members. Everyone’s life has changed. Old matters are opened through the journey. Getting the concert ready does not go smoothly either. Jordan Simonov and Kamka Tocinovski take the leads, with Toni Mihajlovski also in the cast, in Vladimir Blazevski’s Macedonian film of 2011.
