What Qurbani Is About
Sheela, a singer and dancer, has two admirers: Rajesh, a small time thief, and Amar, a young widower. The two are the closest of friends and do not realise they love the same woman. A man named Vikram Singh comes between them and poisons both their lives by showing each what the other really is. The friendship turns over at once and the two men are set against each other. The film puts a love triangle inside a crime story. Whose part it will be to sacrifice is the question at the centre, and the title says as much. It comes from the vein of Indian cinema of 1980 that joined music to action. Feroz Khan, Vinod Khanna and Zeenat Aman appear in Feroz Khan’s hundred and fifty seven minute Indian film, completed in 1980.
