What Reclaim Your Brain Is About
Rainer is a successful television producer breaking ratings records with material he knows to be worthless. After a serious accident he changes his mind, starts making serious programmes, watches the ratings collapse and loses his job. Then the real idea arrives: ratings do not come from the whole country but from measuring boxes in a small selected number of households. Rainer and a group of others go after those boxes. Because Hans Weingartner builds his satire on a real mechanism, the film is persuasive as well as funny. Moritz Bleibtreu leads, at a hundred and twenty-nine minutes.
