What Road Movie Is About
Suk-won, who has lost everything on the market and then his wife as well, ends up on the street; a man called Dae-shik, who has lived rough for years, finds him and takes him along. The two of them start crossing the country from end to end. Dae-shik was once a climber, and he falls in love with Suk-won, who can neither accept it nor refuse it outright. Il-joo, who joins them on the road, becomes attached to Dae-shik, and an unreturned triangle forms between the three. Kim In-shik’s hundred and fourteen minute Korean film gives the relationship neither as an event nor as a lesson; Hwang Jung-min and Jung Chan appear.
