Shiva grew up in the village and is a hard-tempered young man. He meets Indu, who has come to the village from the city, and a fast, passionate affair begins between them. Shiva puts it at the centre of his life. But whether Indu feels the same is not clear, and when the summer ends everything changes. Ajay Bhupathi's Telugu film was shot on a very small budget and became an unexpected box-office success. It is the first major work for Kartikeya and Payal Rajput. The film uses passion and violence together and goes somewhere in its second half very different from its first. The story was later remade in Hindi.
