Saimir

Saimir is an Albanian teenager. He comes to Italy to join his father. The plan is a new life. His father makes a living carrying migrants. The work is illegal. It brings in no money. He moves into something else. He gets involved with a network that trades in women. Saimir helps his father. What he sees grows heavier. Meanwhile he takes to a girl, and that opens questions in his head. He starts to weigh up his own life and what he wants from it. The bond between father and son is put to the test along the way. Mishel Manoku, Lavinia Guglielman and Xhevdet Ferri appear in the eighty eight minute film, an Italian production Francesco Munzi finished in 2005.
