What Santosham Is About
Karthik is a well off architect living in Ooty. He falls in love with Padmavathi. She does not return the interest straight away. Her cousin Bhanu steps in and encourages her. In the end Padmavathi makes up her mind. But her father is against the marriage. He points her towards a man of his own choosing. Padmavathi leaves home and marries Karthik. The two of them settle in New Zealand. A son is born there and they call him Lucky. Years later Padmavathi dies in an accident. Karthik and the child are left behind. Her family is a large joint household. Some of them want to see the boy. They invite the two of them on the pretext of a wedding. Nagarjuna Akkineni and Gracy Singh appear in the hundred and fifty minute film, an Indian production Dasaradh finished in 2002.
