Satellite Boy

There is an Aboriginal boy, twelve years old. He lives with his grandfather in the outback town of Wyndham. The home is also his grandfather’s drive-in cinema. Talk begins of pulling the place down. Developers from the city are behind it. The boy sets out to stop them. The way leads through the bush country of Australia. All he has with him is old survival knowledge. The account runs adventure and family film together. The country of the Kimberley is inside it. So is the bond between grandfather and grandson. Joseph Pedley and Rohanna Angus are also in the cast. David Gulpilil and Cameron Wallaby take the leads in Catriona McKenzie’s Australian film of 2012.
