What What's Left of You Is About
On his eighteenth birthday Özgür finds out what his grandfather's will requires of him. He has to give up his comfortable life in Istanbul, move to a small village on the Aegean and graduate from the state school there, or most of the inheritance goes to charity. The spoiled boy sets off without any enthusiasm. In the village he falls for a classmate, Elif, and Elif is carrying something she has told nobody. Abdullah Oğuz's film is an adaptation of the South Korean A Millionaire's First Love. Ekin Koç plays Özgür and Neslihan Atagül plays Elif. It carries the shape of the Korean melodrama into an Aegean village and builds its feeling out of that place.
