What Seven Golden Men Is About
After making a mess of a job in London, Albert sets his sights on something far larger: seven tons of gold in a bank vault in Geneva. Giorgia works it from inside the bank, six accomplices work it from outside, and Albert runs the whole operation from an expensive hotel room through a bank of electronic equipment. Marco Vicario assembles the robbery like clockwork and then keeps it unclear until the last moment whose favour the clockwork is running in. Armando Trovajoli’s score carries half the film. One of the most imitated of the sixties caper cycle; a sequel followed.
