Silly's Sweet Summer

Martin is a boy of twelve. He is small and thin for his age. His mother reminds him of it often. The boy is quiet and shy. He always has a blue baseball cap on his head. He moves with his parents to a town called Bellbach. There is a new house and a new school. He has no friends, though. At a kiosk he sees Oliver from his class stealing cigarettes. Without meaning to, he gives him away. Oliver gives him a nickname on the spot. The two fall out and they fight. At the same time Martin has fallen for Silke. Silke, though, is Oliver’s friend. Johann Hillmann and Konrad Baumann appear in the ninety minute film, a German production Johannes Schmid finished in 2007.
