Abbas is an Iranian man. He badly wants to get to America. To obtain a visa he crosses into Turkey. His applications come to nothing. He stays on in Turkey for a long time. In the end he thinks of another way. If he marries an American he can get citizenship. So he takes on the appearance of a woman. He changes his clothes and puts on make up. He calls himself Dorna. At first the plan seems to work. As things get complicated, though, Abbas begins to hesitate. He sees where the lie he built is leading. The film treats exile and identity through comedy. The production could not be screened in Iran for a period. Akbar Abdi and Dariush Arjmand appear in the ninety seven minute film, an Iranian production Davood Mir-Bagheri finished in 1995.
