Strawberries in the Throat

A group of school friends comes together after many years. Fifteen years have gone by. All of them are middle aged now. Everyone appears to have settled into some kind of order. The reason for the gathering is a return. One of their friends has come back from abroad. They arrange an evening for him. The idea is to revisit the sixties. The night begins with drink and with songs. The celebration they expected does not arrive. The talk opens up old accounts. What each of them has become comes out. Not one of the dreams made in youth has come true. As the night goes on the tone turns sad. Aleksandar Berček and Branko Cvejić appear in the eighty four minute film, a Yugoslav production Srđan Karanović finished in 1985.
