Stromberg - The Movie

Bernd Stromberg has sat in the same chair in the claims department of an insurance company for ten years waiting for promotion, and the company decides to close the department. Stromberg builds a plan to turn this to his advantage and, as usual, damages everyone around him. Arne Feldhusen made it as the close of the German series of the same name, which started from the template of The Office and whose central character had become a figure in his own right. What was most discussed about it was the financing: one million euros of the production budget was raised by crowdfunding in under a week and it counted as the first large example of the method in Germany. Christoph Maria Herbst does not soften the part at all. Who it is for: anyone who watched the series and viewers who like German office humour. Who it is not for: newcomers, since without the character's history he simply reads as crude.
