It is also why he was discharged from military service. The marriage does not work from the start. Sultan comes into the house as a bride and stays there. She tries to bear what comes. After a while Osman dies. The family then makes another reckoning. They do not want the money they paid to be wasted. To keep Sultan in the house they turn to a custom. They marry her to their small son, who has only just learned to walk. Turkan Soray and Ali Ozoguz take the leads, with Renan Fosforoglu also in the cast, in Halit Refig’s Turkish film of 1973.
