The film is built around a section set in the future. The year is 2030. That India is set against the country as it is now. Two pictures are placed side by side. One is the present country. The other is the country imagined. The story runs on that contrast. The title is not given in writing. In place of a name there is a hand gesture. The gesture is called the Vitarka Mudra. Upendra wrote the screenplay. He directed it as well. He also plays the lead. Nayanthara plays opposite him. Rockline Venkatesh produced it and V. Harikrishna wrote the music. The film did very large business in Kannada cinema. Tulip Joshi also appears in the hundred and forty six minute film, an Indian production Upendra finished in 2010.
