Sweet Little Lies

Dana has to go on a date in place of her friend Oana. Oana does not have the courage to meet face to face the man she met online. The man at the date is a broker named Dani. Inside the same story a hacker is cheating on his partner with a fake profile picture. There is also a French pastry teacher settled in Bucharest, who teaches how to make sweets by day and other things by night. Nobody is the person they appear to be, and everyone believes that lying is the most beautiful truth. From this a chain of misunderstandings follows. The film tells the games of identity of the internet age in the language of romantic comedy. Andi Vasluianu and Diana Dumitrescu appear in Iura Luncașu’s ninety eight minute Romanian film, completed in 2012.
