Taming The Younger Sister-in-Law

Min-sang suddenly makes a success of himself through a webtoon. After that he marries Yu-ra and his life appears to be settled. His sister-in-law Yu-mi does not like herself, and that upsets the balance in the house. One day Min-sang reads Yu-mi’s diary and learns something about his wife’s past he did not know. That knowledge becomes a hold he has over them. He then begins making demands of his sister-in-law that grow heavier and heavier. Yu-mi accepts them and the relation between them turns around. The film offers this as a love story, but what it actually builds is a relation of power. The hundred and eleven minutes pass among these three. Pae Kon’s South Korean film was completed in 2020.
