María Novaro's 2017 Mexican film follows two siblings, Dylan and Andrea, who move with their family to a small coastal town. With their new friends they set off after a pirate treasure said to be hidden nearby. The film does not proceed like an adventure picture, though: instead of directing the children it watches them, leaving their talk and their play as they are. The sea, the forest, the turtles and the daily life of the town take up as much room as the story. A calm, natural children's film that never talks down to a young audience.
